Nei giorni 30 e 31 maggio si sono incontrati a Torino, per il quarto e ultimo meeting transnazionale i partner del progetto S.T.R.E.E.T. (Sustainable Transport Education for Environment and Tourism) provenienti da Austria, Italia, Regno Unito e Slovenia.
Il progetto, iniziato nel 2015, e con fine prevista per agosto 2018, ha visto la partecipazione di 46 giovani provenienti da tutta Europa, che hanno acquisito competenze nel campo della mobilità e del turismo sostenibile, un segmento di mercato in continua evoluzione. 24 tra loro hanno partecipato a visite di approfondimento nei quattro paesi partner.
I partner e alcuni giovani partecipanti hanno organizzato l’evento finale “Muoviamoci Bene”, realizzato insieme a Legambiente Piemonte e Valle d’Aosta e che si è svolto presso il Collegio Artigianelli – Teatro Le Musichall nella mattinata del 30 maggio.
A seguire, i partner hanno valutato nel complesso il lavoro svolto nei 3 anni di progetto, definendo ed elaborando le ultime fasi del prodotto finale e del materiale necessario alla chiusura del progetto.
“On 30th and 31st of May, the partners of the STREET project had their last transnational meeting in Torino.
The partnership worked for 3 years on sustainable mobility and Tourisms developing an on line course (followed
by 46 people) and organizing 4 “study visits” for a group of 24 students coming from European countries.
The partners, from Italy, Austria, the United Kingdom and Slovenia, revised the work done in the previous 3 years and organized the
final phase of the project which will have its final product in the form of an ebook and an online course.
The meeting in Torino was also the occasion to organize a conference with the environmental association “Lega Ambiente”: the
“Forum for a new mobility” saw the participation of 200 peopole and focused on experiences and round tables on better transport policies for our cities.
